1. Thistle Hotel Luton
Overlooking St. George Square, this elegant and modern hotel is one of the best that the city has to offer. It serves as an excellent base for travelling around the Bedfordshire countryside or as a stopover from Luton Airport. The hotel is also just a stone's throw away from Woburn Abbey and Whipsnade Zoo.

There are 152 bedrooms in all, including 32 executive rooms, six executive king rooms and a suite. All rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, satellite TV, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities.
 
The hotel houses a restaurant and coffee shop that serves a wide selection of drinks, light refreshments and meals. They also have five meeting rooms, including a 250-seat, theater style room. All rooms are air-conditioned and have natural daylight. It's an ideal place for corporate conventions or meetings.

Facilities include the Otium Health and Leisure Club, which is equipped with a sauna, steam room, spa pool, swimming pool and workout facilities. The club also offers beauty treatments, but these have to be reserved in advance.

There is plenty of room for parking at the NCP Car Park and The Library Car Park.

 

2. The Pines Hotel
Located just one mile from Luton's town centre and a mere six minutes to the airport, the Pines Hotel is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is also close to the M1 and the Thameslink Railways stations of Luton and Leagrave.

The Pines Hotel is famous for its excellent facilities and boasts of the highest standards of comfort. Their large and elegant bedrooms all have an en-suite bathroom, satellite television, hairdryer, clock radio, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests have a choice between family rooms and business suites. The hotel offers 24-hour reception, luggage storage and a dry cleaning/laundry service.

The hotel hosts its own restaurant, which serves as wide range of cuisine, ranging from traditional roast dinners and steaks to more exotic offerings. Vegetarian meals and children's meals are also available upon request.

 

3. The Royal Hotel
Located at the centre of Luton, The Royal Hotel is one of the newest first-class hotels in the city and an excellent venue for business and pleasure. It is readily accessible from the Luton Airport and Thameslink and offers great access to Luton's many shops, clubs, restaurants and provides great sight-seeing opportunities. Nearby attractions include Woburn Abbey, Woburn Safari Park, Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, and The Shuttleworth Collection.

Every room in the Royal Hotel is appointed with en-suite facilities, telephone, DVD televisions and 24-hour room service. With function rooms and conference facilities for over 200 guests, the Royal Hotel is also a popular venue for weddings and other milestones

4. The Old Palace Lodge
Clad in ivy and featuring wood panelled interiors, elegant furnishings and a friendly atmosphere, the Old Palace Lodge boasts of great ambiance and that famous old English charm. The hotel is just across the historic Priory Church of St. Peter at the heart of Dunstable, close to the Dunstable Downs and providing a breath-taking view across the Vale of Aylesbury.  It boasts of a superb reputation for serving excellent food and providing great service.

There are 68 exquisite bedrooms in all, including six suites, some of which carry the names of the wives of King Henry VIII, who is said to have been a guest at the lodge many years ago. 5. Express by Holiday Inn hotel
The Express by Holiday Inn hotel is an ideal venue because it's the closest Luton hotel to the airport, which makes it a favoured destination of both business and leisure travellers, but it has much more going for it than just that. There's it contemporary style, excellent value for money and the kind of service that guests write their friends and families about.

The guestrooms have been refurbished recently and feature triple glazing to ensure a good night's sleep. Two children can get to share their parents' room for free. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every day at 4 a.m.

The Express by Holiday Inn hotel also offer a superb view of the Luton Airport runway. There are also a great many nearby attractions such as shops and shopping centres, cinemas and theatres, art galleries and museums, restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs, a golf course and the Luton central business district.

The hotel also has its own in-venue restaurant that serves simple, tasty meals for the whole family. They also have a bar, lounge, guest dining room and Internet access facilities.
